Carolinas Chapter of the NcrS

UPCOMING EVENTS

our chapter

The Carolinas Chapter, formed in 1996, is part of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) and is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and enjoyment of Corvettes 1953 - 2007. The Carolinas Chapter brings a part of the National NCRS to the local area where you can become involved in activities within the Carolinas.

We invite you to join us at one of our road tours, technical sessions, judging schools, or judging events.  Check out our Events page for all future events! Our focus is primarily Corvettes, but good cars bring good friends together.  Won't you come and join us?

We cover the Carolinas with members from the coast to the mountains.

The Carolinas Chapter is proud to be a Top Flight® Chapter.

JANUARY-FEBURARY 2026

FROM THE CHAPTER CHAIR . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Ed Harbour

The annual holiday party for our chapter took place on Sunday, December 7, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, graciously hosted by David and Mary Barrett at the Shannamara Club House. Their exceptional hospitality and the generous meal were greatly appreciated by all 30 attendees who enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Traditionally, the CCNCRS Chapter funds this annual event as an expression of gratitude to our members during the holiday season. This year, David and Mary kindly donated the meal and budgeted expenses were directly donated to our chapter charity fund. This is in keeping with the chapter’s policy to transfer registration money when lunch is donated at any event. We extend sincere thanks for their generosity. In addition, $185 was raised attendee contributions to support our charities. The Toys-for-Tots drive was notably successful, with donations including games, clothing, gift sets, and three bicycles—bringing joy to many children this year. (See photo on p. 1) Appreciation is also extended to CiCi’s Pizza for serving as a collection point for this cause. Looking Ahead. The NCRS new year commences with the Florida Regional, the 47th Annual, scheduled for January 14-17, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida. We encourage strong participation from CCNCRS members in this great event. Our next chapter meeting will be a judging school focused on day of flight judging preparation and a technical session on rebuilding an A6 air-conditioning compressor, taking place Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Universal Technical Institute, 220 Byers Creek Rd, Mooresville. Wishing you and your families a joyful and safe holiday season and a healthy new year. I look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming 2026 CCNCRS events.

SAVE THE WAVE.

The Carolinas Chapter’s final event of the year was the annual Christmas party/charity event, which collects toys to be donated to the U S Marine Corps Reserve Toys-for-Tots campaign. It was a cool sunny day and attendance was up with 16 families and one guest.
