I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving and Christmas. Welcome to 2020. The Christmas party was a great success thanks to the efforts of Mary and Dave Barrett. Thank you from all of us for a great job. Eighteen families were in attendance and we collected lots of toys for Toys-for-Tots. Do you want the good news or the bad news first? I always prefer to hear the bad news first.

Events keep rolling along at the CCNCRS while preparations continue for the 2019 NCRS National Convention. Bob gives the chapter financials a glowing review, and the chapter looks forward to more local events in the 2nd half of 2019.

Many events planned this year for the Carolinas Chapter, and Bob discusses all the great locations to see these classic corvettes! Most of all, get out and volunteer at the National Convention!

The National Convention is over! Tom Barr and his team did a great job. I had the opportunity to volunteer on Sunday, helping with the unloading of cars and checking gas tank levels. It was good that Sunday was one of the cooler days—temperature was only 105o F. And half the cars arrived after 4 PM. There were five semis, something we really do need to plan for next year as I suspect we may have even more.
